Privacy Policy

What personal information UPLYNE collects, why, who it is shared with, how long it is kept, and your choices.

Effective 30 Oct 2026

1. Who is responsible

This website, uplyne.in, is run by UPLYNE ("UPLYNE", "we", "us"). This policy explains how we handle personal information when you browse the website, create an account, buy products or services, or contact us.

We aim to handle personal information in line with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the rules made under it, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, as they apply to us.

2. Information we collect

Account registration

  • Your name, email address and password. The password is stored only as a secure one-way hash, and we cannot read it.
  • Optional details you add, such as phone or WhatsApp number and company name.
  • Whether your email is verified, and when you last signed in.

Orders and billing

  • The products and services you buy, their prices, any coupon used, tax, and the order total.
  • Billing details you enter at checkout: billing name, company, address, state and GSTIN, if you give them.
  • Your acceptance of our Terms, Refund Policy and License Policy at checkout, with the time.
  • The invoices and credit notes issued to you.
  • The status of any installation service you buy.

Payment transaction references

Payments are processed by Razorpay, an authorised payment provider. You enter card, UPI, net banking or wallet details on Razorpay's checkout. We do not receive or store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN or banking password. We do receive and store the transaction records needed to confirm and account for your payment: the Razorpay order and payment IDs, amount, currency, status, payment method type (for example "card" or "upi"), any error message, and refund references.

Contact forms, enquiries and support

When you use the contact form, request a quote or open a support request, we keep what you send: your name, email, optional phone or WhatsApp number and company, subject, message, and project details such as service, budget and timeline.

Downloads

When you download a purchased file, we record which file, when, and from which IP address and browser. We use this to enforce download limits and to investigate access problems or misuse.

Technical and usage data

  • Your IP address and browser information, recorded with orders, sign-in attempts, form submissions and downloads, for security, fraud prevention and troubleshooting.
  • Essential cookies. See our Cookie Policy.

We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics on this website.

3. How we use your information

  • To create and run your account and sign you in securely.
  • To process orders, verify payments with Razorpay, deliver downloads and issue invoices.
  • To provide installation services and custom development work you ask for.
  • To reply to enquiries and support requests.
  • To send transactional emails: account verification, password resets, order and payment confirmations with your invoice, download notices, installation status updates and support replies. These are part of the service and are not marketing. We do not send marketing emails unless you have agreed to them.
  • To prevent fraud and abuse, protect accounts, enforce our Terms and licences, and keep the website secure.
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Razorpay, to process payments and refunds. Razorpay handles payment data under its own privacy policy.
  • Our hosting provider, which stores the website and its database on our behalf.
  • Our email service provider, which delivers our emails.
  • Professional advisers, such as accountants and lawyers, where needed.
  • Authorities, where the law requires it, or to protect rights, safety or property.

For installation and custom projects, we may need access to your hosting or systems. We use that access only for the agreed work.

5. Security

  • The website uses HTTPS.
  • Passwords are hashed, payment gateway and email credentials are encrypted at rest, and purchased files are stored outside the public web folder and released only to signed-in buyers.
  • Sign-in attempts are rate-limited, and forms are protected against cross-site request forgery.
  • Access to the admin area is restricted by role, and admin actions are logged.

No system is completely secure. If we become aware of a breach that affects your personal information, we will act on it and inform you and the authorities as the law requires.

6. How long we keep it

  • Account information: while your account is active. If you ask us to close your account, we delete or anonymise it, except where we must keep records.
  • Orders, invoices and payment records: for as long as Indian tax, accounting and other laws require.
  • Enquiries and support conversations: while they are needed to deal with your request and any follow-up.
  • Security and download logs: for as long as they are needed for security, fraud prevention and resolving disputes.

7. Your rights and choices

You can:

  • see and update your profile in My Account › Profile;
  • ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or for it to be corrected;
  • ask us to delete your account and personal information, subject to the records we must keep by law;
  • withdraw consent where we rely on it, which does not affect processing already done;
  • raise a complaint with our grievance contact below.

To make a request, email support@uplyne.in from the email address on your account. We may need to confirm your identity first.

8. Children

This website is not meant for children. Accounts and purchases are for people aged 18 or over, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy when our practices change. The current version, with its effective date, is always on this page.
